Workers' Compensation Risk
Certification (WRC)
|
The
Workers Compensation Risk Certification (WRC, pronounced
“work”) is a staffing-specific program focusing on the
critical area of safety. The WRC Certified Seal identifies a
firm’s commitment to safety early in the sales process. The
WRC standard is administered by industry leadership
including the WRC Advisory Council, the American Staffing
Association (ASA), the voice of the staffing industry, and
RCS
Services (RCS), the nation’s fourth largest independent risk
management consulting firm.
Drawing influence from the ISO family of standards, staffing
firms undergo a comprehensive operational evaluation process
to earn the designation WRC Certified. This includes
a review of how they prescreen, qualify and interview
applicants. The process contemplates how employees are
evaluated, matched to jobs and trained before they are sent
to a worksite. Furthermore, the WRC Certification process
extends into the client partnership and how staffing
services build safety partnerships, communicate with
clients, and maintain focus on your facility and production
goals. Should an accident or injury occur, WRC Certified
firms are trained to react immediately and work with the
client to ensure that all employees are safe from similar
harm. |
