CoWorx has partnered with a global leader in animal health technology and services, whose mission is to drive better financial and clinical outcomes for veterinarians. This will be a Laborer Team Member position responsible for physically unloading containers and placing items on pallets. The pallets will then be wrapped by hand and you would use a manual pallet jack to move them. The company is located in Canal Winchester, OH and the shift will be Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm at a starting payrate of $18.25 per hour. Responsibilities:

– Off-load floor loaded containers too pallets.
– Items on containers can be mixed.
– Attention to detail is of the upmost importance.
– They will reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor/lead or Manager.
– They will maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
– Other duties such as assisting with clean up, sweeping, pulling empty pallets, etc. may be assigned.

– While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
– This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
– The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 25 pounds.
– Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus to perform the essential functions.
– Must be able to read labels on products.
– Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers.
– Must be able to operate a hand jack.
– Occasionally must be able to exert up to 70 pounds of force
– Frequently exerting up to 50 pounds of force,
– Constantly lift up to 30 pounds of force to move objects.
