CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Experienced Fire Sprinkler Technicians in the Rockville, MD area for their busy service center! These positions are Direct Hires and you will be hired directly onto the company’s payroll!

This company has a dedicated team specializing in the design, installation, and inspection of fire protection systems, including alarms, sprinkler systems, and suppression systems. This role focuses on servicing, inspecting, and repairing fire sprinkler systems for existing customers, with a regular on-call rotation for emergencies.

Responsibilities:

– Perform scheduled service calls, including inspections and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.
– Conduct emergency troubleshooting and repairs for fire sprinkler system issues.
– Identify and address code compliance issues and system non-conformities.
– Interpret and apply NFPA 25 codes during all testing and inspection activities.
– Maintain or pursue NICET certification in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems.
– Conduct fire pump flow tests (preferred).
– Accurately prepare detailed service tickets, reports, and documentation.
– Engage with customers to explain the work being performed, outline necessary repairs, and answer questions.

Desired Background/Skills:

– Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire sprinkler system inspection and repair.
– Valid driver’s license with three or fewer points and at least three years of licensed driving experience.
– Proficiency with NFPA codes and standards.
– Experience working on ladders (6-12 feet) and in confined spaces like attics and crawl spaces.
– Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
– Comfortable working in overhead and limited-space environments.
– Excellent ability to maintain accurate records and manage service tickets effectively.

Other Information:

– Experienced Fire Sprinkler Technician with 4-6 years of experience pay range $28-38/hr
– Experienced Fire Sprinkler Lead with 8-10 years of experience pay range $38-48/hr
