CoWorx Staffing Services has a direct hire opportunity for a Welder in N Billerica, MA! Position would be primarily welding and fabrication.

Responsibilities:

• Assembly of vacuum furnaces (including piping, frames, gas distribution systems, etc)
• Operation and testing of vacuum furnaces (including loading, monitoring, unloading, fluid evaluation/changes as needed, insulation repair/replacement as required)
• Field service of vacuum furnaces and components.
• Shipping and receiving, including incoming order inspections. Order inspections will include the use of micrometers, tape measures, and angle measurements.

Desired Background/Skills:

• 4-5 years experience welding with MIG and TIG stainless and mild steel
• Some assembly and/or operation of vacuum equipment.
• Some experience with installation, testing, trouble shooting and commissioning of industrial equipment and electronic instrumentation & process controls.
• Understanding of piping and instrument diagrams, assembly drawings.
• Incoming and sub-assembly inspection.
• High School diploma or equivalent

Other Information:

With this position, there may be some overtime, weekend or shift work on a periodic basis based on manufacturing workload as well as traveling.

Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm
