Step Line Leader ( 2ND SHIFT )

CoWorx Staffing Services has IMMEDIATE openings for Step Line Leaders for the first shift in Winston Salem, NC!

Responsibilities:

Use the Work Order as a guide to understand job requirements and specifications, assign individual tasks, and train and direct the temporary staff accordingly
Set-up or assist with line set-up as needed, using the line diagram
Responsible for inventory control, tracking and reconciliation of customer product, ensuring product is properly placed on the line and kept in good supply as needed for completion of the shift’s production and for the start of the next shift, if applicable
Oversee and monitor production flow on the line, trouble shoot problems, make equipment adjustments as needed, and recommend and institute line improvements
Communicate with the customer on daily operations, safety, and headcount as needed
Ensure that the finished product meets all specifications outlined in the Work Order
Ensure adherence to Company Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), and Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP’s)
Understand and demonstrate safety behaviors and ensure all temporary staff are in compliance with all safety procedures, including maintaining the cleanliness of all equipment and work areas

Desired Background/Skills:

Resume Required / Must to be 18 and up
Manual Dexterity – This job requires the repeated and coordinated use of your arms, hands, wrists, and fingers to grasp objects and to put parts/products together
Attention to Detail – This job requires that you pay careful attention to your daily tasks at all times
Quality control is extremely important and it is a requirement that you assemble materials accurately in order to product quality product
