CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Technician to join a great team in the Belcamp, MD area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications. This role plays a vital part in maintaining our commitment to producing high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

• Identify defects/non-conformance and generate detailed reports.
• Conduct inspections for production start-ups and approve continued production based on specifications.
• Perform first article inspections of parts according to drawings.
• Inspect finished products per sampling plans, record data, and approve them for shipment.
• Maintain records of inspections, SPC charts, and store products appropriately.
• Assist in receiving inspections of incoming parts and materials.
• Update inspection forms for new or revised drawings.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control Manager and perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or GED (college coursework in manufacturing, engineering, or quality management preferred).
• Previous experience in manufacturing quality control is required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and tolerances.
• Proficiency with hand measurement tools, such as calipers, indicators, and gauges.
