Assembly Technicians

CoWorx Staffing Services in partnership with IMI Adaptas is hiring Assembly Technicians in the Palmer, MA area!

This role involves assembling, verifying, and testing a range of technical assemblies, from individual components to fully integrated systems, under the guidance and approval of engineering and scientific staff.

Responsibilities:

Understand details of assembly drawings and bills of materials.
Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and adhere to deadlines.
Routinely communicate with production leadership on issues which could affect production and the meeting of deadlines.
Operate necessary equipment either automated or manual.
Handle various raw materials and give suggestions on ways to improve the product or manufacturing processes.
Understand details of assembly drawings and bills of materials within the life-science industry.
Drawing, grinding, and polishing glass fibers.

Desired Background/Skills:

High School diploma or GED equivalent
Must have the ability to work with a microscope.
Candidate MUST have attention to detail.
1 – 3 years of manufacturing experience or combination of experience and education.
Must have an attention to detail and able to operate with minimal supervision.

Temp to hire opportunity
1st shift: 7:00am-3:30pm M-F
