Mechanical Assembler

We’re seeking assemblers with a mechanical background to join our client’s team in Rochester, NH!

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a critical role in assembling boilers from scratch on one of many product lines. Using hand and power tools, you will ensure each product meets high standards of quality. Cross-training on multiple stations and products is part of our practice, so you’ll gain valuable experience and skills in a variety of areas.

Responsibilities:

Assemble boilers and related components using hand and power tools.
Follow safety rules, operating procedures, and maintenance instructions.
Cross-train on multiple stations and product lines.
Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors.
Apply common sense and problem-solving skills to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.

Desired Background/Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent required
At least 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
Experience with hand tools and power tools preferred
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Basic math skills
Strong communication skills
Dependability and flexibility, including the ability to work overtime as needed
