Extruder Machine Operator

CoWorx is currently seeking a motivated Extruder Machine Operator to join our team in Crawfordsville, IN.

We don’t just manufacture plastic sheets—we create solutions that are used in a variety of essential products, from license plates and signage to school supplies and veterinary clinic equipment. As part of our commitment to sustainability, we reuse scrap materials to produce environmentally friendly products.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate assigned extrusion line to produce high-quality plastic sheets according to production specifications.
Conduct first-piece and hourly quality checks for gauge, size, squareness, opacity, surface condition, and appearance.
Coordinate with the Extrusion Utility on material or color changes.
Grind and recycle webbing when appropriate materials are available.
Band skids and move finished loads to the next work center.
Support roll changes and maintenance efforts as needed.
Report equipment issues to the Lead Extruder Operator or Maintenance.

Desired Background/Skills:

High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
