Roll Mechanic

CoWorx is seeking Roll Mechanics in the Concord, NH area!
The Roll Mechanic Trainee will be training for 3 or more months under the direct supervision of the senior roll mechanic.

Responsibilities:

For the first 1.5-2 months, the trainee will be strictly shadowing the Roll Mechanic and will not yet be operating the equipment, nor disassembling nor re-assembling product.
At the completion of the extensive job shadow portion of training, the roll mechanic trainee will begin learning how to:

• inspect roll components and parts
• how to disassemble rolls
• how to repair rolls
• how to reassemble rolls under the direct supervision of the roll mechanic (approximately 1 month prior to conversion in temp-to-hire)

Desired Background/Skills:

• Must be 18 or older
• 2+ years of manufacturing, mechanical, or millwright experience, or technical training preferred
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, blueprint reading, and troubleshooting
• Basic data entry and computer skills
