Machine Operator

CoWorx Staffing Services has an exciting new opportunity in the Shelbyville, TN area!

Calling all Machine Operators!

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating a folder machine to produce various printed products such as announcements, thank you cards, name cards, greeting cards, and other similar materials. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to production schedules, and ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, and prepare for operations
Set up folder according to specifications on the shop ticket
Feed, run, and offload the machine
Box finished product
Perform minor maintenance as needed
At end of shift, secure all equipment and machinery and complete all required paperwork

Desired Background/Skills:

High school diploma or GED
Computer literacy and working-level skill with the basic MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer)
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
The ability to work well both individually and in a team environment
Knowledge of printing manufacturing processes
