Night Shift Extruder

CoWorx Staffing is hiring for a 2nd shift Extruder at our client located in the West Brookfield, MA area!

This is a specialized position ideal for someone with attention to detail and experience working with precision machinery.

Responsibilities:

Setting up and operating an extruder to melt and apply thermoplastic insulation onto copper wire
Installing guider and die components into the machine
Loading copper wire onto the machine
Adding copper pellets into the hopper
Starting the machine and adjusting controls to ensure accurate application of insulation
Monitoring the process and making necessary adjustments to maintain product quality
Using measuring tools such as micrometers to verify accuracy

Desired Background/Skills:

Must be at least 18 years of age
Prior experience with extrusion equipment
Familiarity with micrometers and other precision measuring tools is beneficial
Ability to work independently
Follow detailed technical instructions
