Forklift Operator 3rd

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Forklift Operator candidates in the Winston Salem, NC area.

Responsibilities:

Obtain a copy of production schedules or shipping orders and transport materials or equipment to and from designated areas within the facility
Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records
Load and unload goods from trucks and/or other vehicles
Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
Stack goods in the correct storage bays while following inventory control instructions
Ensure loads are secure
Stack empty pallets
Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the forklift’s battery and lubricating equipment
Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines
Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
Dump materials into machine hoppers

Desired Background/Skills:

Must to Provide a Resume showing a forklift experience
Really needs some one with 5 + and steady background on a lift as the majority of work experience
Must be proficient in math, language and reading; basic computer skills may be required
High degree of attention required to prevent injury to self and to others
Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner
Maintain and promote a clean and safe environment
Must have a good sense of balance
Must have good eye-hand-foot coordination
Must have the ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights
Must have the ability to work in varying temperatures

Other Information:

Candidate needs to be training on 1st shift for 2 to 5 days on. After training is completed, move to 3rd shift
Job Location: 5950 Grassy Creek Blvd Winston Salem NC 27105
Weekly pay Sunday – Thursday
