Production Lead

CoWorx Staffing Services seeks a Production Lead for a manufacturer in Charlestown, NH. This is a Direct Hire, Full Time, hourly position that offers a shift differential, quarterly bonus and excellent benefits. Come join a growing, innovative company today!

Responsibilities:

Assures adherence to daily production schedules and dispatch list priorities
Monitors throughput daily, identifying root causes for not attaining throughput goals, develop and execute corrective actions.
Assign resources as needed to achieve production goals.
Responsible for understanding and providing input to capacity planning as customers’ production demands fluctuates.
Ensure that employees are following established operating procedures when processing product, and that equipment is operating within expected controls.
Participate in root cause identification, along with corrective actions for quality issues identified within assigned areas.
Ensure employees have appropriate training for assigned job responsibilities. Maintains training matrix for assigned areas. Responsible for cross training within assigned area.
Performs annual performance reviews, assure adequate staffing, and provide appropriate resources/training to support expected job performance.
Has the responsibility and authority for directing work.
Has the responsibility and authority to manage employee performance.

Desired Background/Skills:

Two (2) years of manufacturing experience is required
Two (2) years of supervisory experience is required
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Requires ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Working knowledge and application of ISO standards
Must have the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
