Material Handler

CoWorx is seeking a dependable and motivated Material Handler in the Portland, ME area!

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day handling of inventory, including receiving, organizing, and shipping materials. Ideal candidates are punctual, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This full-time position in Portland, ME offers a pay rate of $22/hour and a schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

Load and unload trucks using manual and powered equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
Label, scan, and organize inventory accurately
Perform routine inventory counts and maintain documentation
Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed

Desired Background/Skills:

Must be at least 18 years old or older
Previous warehouse or material handling experience
Forklift certification a plus
Must be dependable and punctual—on-time attendance is critical
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
