Manufacturing Associate

Job Description:

Location: Rollinsford, New Hampshire

Have you always wanted to learn soldering and electronics manufacturing? Our client in Rollinsford, NH is seeking a manufacturing associate who will receive on the job training for a variety of manufacturing tasks.
1st shift schedule, Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm, $17-18/hr
Temporary to hire position

Responsibilities:

Perform through-hole and surface-mount soldering (SMT) to IPC-A-610 standards.
Assemble electro-mechanical products, including box-builds and wire harnesses, according to detailed work instructions, drawings and schematics.
Prepare components for production, including prepping, cutting, stripping, labeling and staging.
Operate and monitor automated and semi-automated equipment (e.g., aqueous wash, selective solder, and wave solder machines).
Follow standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards throughout all production activities.
Inspect completed assemblies for quality and adherence to specifications.
Document production data accurately and maintain traceability, as required.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support lean manufacturing practices.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors and engineering.

Desired Background/Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electronics or manufacturing preferred.
1-3 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment preferred.
Knowledge of soldering techniques and IPC-A-610 standards, preferred.
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
Attention to detail and strong manual dexterity.
Ability to stand, sit, or perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Willingness to work in a team-oriented, quality-driven environment.
