Customer Service Representative

Job Description:

Location: Kennebunk, Maine

CoWorx is seeking a detail-oriented, dependable, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in Kennebunk, ME.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, managing inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring a seamless service experience from start to finish.

Schedule: Monday-Friday; Shift: 1st, 8:30am-5:00pm; Pay Rate: $18-$20/hour DOE

Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
Enter and manage customer orders in internal systems
Coordinate with production, sales, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
Provide updates on order status, lead times, and shipping
Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
Support account management and assist in building lasting customer relationships
Assist with other administrative or customer support tasks as needed

Desired Background/Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
1–3 years of experience in a customer service or administrative role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with ERP or order entry systems
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Positive attitude and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
