Warehouse Associate

CoWorx has partnered with one of the nation’s largest last-mile delivery providers, who are looking to add Warehouse Associates to their team in Durham, NC.

As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll play an important role in making sure freight gets where it needs to go. You will be responsible for sorting mix weight boxes to create full customer orders, ensuring that the right products are picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. Attention to detail and physical stamina will be key to being success in this role. You’ll work alongside a top caliber management team that understands the transportation industry and will be supported by a passionate team motivated by fast-paced innovation and the desire to deliver for customers.

The work schedule would be Thursday to Monday, 7:30am to 4:00pm and pay ranging from $18.00 to $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

Sort and organize heavy boxes in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Ensure accuracy in picking and assembling customer orders
Verify product codes, quantities, and other order specifications
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Work collaboratively with team members to meet order deadlines
Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, if necessary
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines for handling heavy boxes

Desired Background/Skills:

Basic written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer skills/li]
Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends, due to varying freight volumes
Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry
Experience loading and unloading trailers
Experience using handheld scanners
The ability to apply critical thinking to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form
