Receiving Associate

CoWorx is seeking Receiving Associates in the Omaha, NE area!

The Receiving Associate is responsible for accurately receiving, verifying, and inspecting all incoming shipments to ensure product quality and inventory accuracy. This role plays a critical part in the supply chain process and supports the overall efficiency of warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

Unload incoming deliveries from trucks in a safe and efficient manner
Match incoming freight to the corresponding Bill of Lading (BOL)
Document any visible damage on the BOL and have it signed by the driver. Capture photos of damaged freight and report findings to the Buyer, Warehouse Manager, Inventory Control, and Accounts Payable as necessary
Use INXSQL to create inbound batches and label them according to carrier name
Retrieve or print vendor packing slips and purchase orders as needed
Match product details (item description, quantity, surface finish, and vendor number) to verify accuracy against purchase orders
Perform Level 1 visual inspections on a sample of items to ensure conformity. Non-conforming items must be set aside for further review and communicated to the Quality Assurance (QA) team
Follow Acceptance Sampling Plans when applicable, and prepare samples for QA inspection
For flatbeds, containers, or internal NBI trucks, follow safety protocols such as placing fencing and properly staging items for inspection
Accurately receive products line-by-line in the system, confirming item weights, country of origin, and lot numbers as required

Desired Background/Skills:

Be 18 years old or older
Prior experience in warehouse receiving or inventory control preferred
Familiarity with Bills of Lading, packing slips, and ERP systems (experience with INXSQL a plus)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic computer skills and proficiency in email communication
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
