Commercial Electrician 2nd Shift-Direct Hire

CoWorx Staffing Services has several Direct Hire – Commercial Electrician opportunities for 2nd Shift, located in Griffin/Barnesville, GA! This is an opportunity to join an evolving and growing dynamic enterprise. As the Commercial Electrician, you will perform fundamental electrical installations for industrial packaging daily. You will also perform all duties related to industrial packaging for backup power.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Working knowledge of basic electrical installation
Wiring AC & DC lights, 3-way switches, GFCI receptacles, Load Center
Bending and sizing of conduit, sizing of wire
Interpret current NEC codes.
Interpret shop drawings.
Must have commercial or industrial experience.
Participate in the required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Desired Background/Skills:

Key Requirements:

Must have 3 years minimum experience as a commercial AND/OR industrial electrical apprentice/journeyman.
Frequently pushing/pulling, reaching (both above and below shoulder), bending/twisting, walking, standing, repetition – hand/wrist simple and firm grasping.
Frequently crouching/stooping/squatting, crawling/kneeling, climbing/stepping.
Occasionally (when out in the yard) work in extreme weather conditions including, but not limited to, extreme heat, cold, rain, snow, and ice. Shop environment may still be extremely hot (over 90 degrees) or cold (less than 40 degrees). Equipment, tools and job site may be very loud requiring hearing protection. Environment may include vibrations, strong odors, moving mechanical parts, exposure to electrical shock, flammable liquids and gases, oils, and solvents, working on platforms or equipment over 4 feet from the ground.
Appropriate PPE required and mandated as per company policies.
Company required Safety Training and Annual recertification required.
Relevant certifications from a Technical College preferred.
School certification preferred but not required if you have adequate experience.

To be successful in this position you should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. Adhere and adapt to changing temperatures in the work environment. Possess experience in the industrial or commercial field. The ability to work safely alone and around others is essential to this position as well.

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate, based on experience.
Payrate $27 to $38
2nd Shift Shift $1.50 shift differential.
Performance Bonus Plan

Work Hours:
2nd Shift -3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
