Warehouse Operator

CoWorx STaffing Services is seeking Warehouse Operators in the Thomaston, CT area!

The Warehouse Operator is a key member of the warehouse and logistics team, responsible for supporting daily operations to ensure efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials and products. This role is ideal for individuals looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform physical counts of parts and components to maintain accurate inventory records
Follow established material handling procedures across multiple inventory locations
Communicate with commercial carriers, internal departments, and external partners as needed
Operate forklifts and/or hand trucks to safely move pallets and materials
Accurately enter and update inventory and shipment data into computer systems (e.g., ERP software)
Assist with other warehouse and logistics tasks as assigned
Regular standing, walking, climbing, lifting, bending, and reaching

Desired Background/Skills:

High school diploma or GED
Hands-on experience in a warehouse, shipping, or manufacturing environment
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Familiarity with international shipping documentation
Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP)
Experience with FedEx or other international shipping procedures
Ability to analyze and report data
