Machine Operator

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Machine Operators in the Shelton, CT area!

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery in accordance with company safety policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and the equipment manufacturer’s guidelines. This role ensures consistent production output and product quality while contributing to overall manufacturing efficiency. Actively seeking candidates in the Shelton/Naugatuck area.

Responsibilities:

Operate machinery at standard production speeds and in compliance with product specifications.
Load raw materials onto machines as required to maintain continuous operation.
Stack finished product (boxes) neatly on pallets for shipping or storage.
Conduct routine quality checks, record relevant production data, and promptly report any discrepancies or issues.
Support team members on the production line as needed to meet shift goals.

Desired Background/Skills:

Frequent walking or standing for the duration of an 8+ hour shift; mobility around machinery is essential.
Must be capable of lifting up to 60 pounds and reaching overhead up to 84 inches while standing flat-footed.
Use of pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment may be required.
