Manufacturing Associate

CoWorx Staffing Services in partnership with Dexter Russell is hiring Manufacturing Associate in the Southbridge, MA area!

Dexter Russell is a cutlery manufacturing company with locations in Southbridge and Sturbridge, MA. It is the largest US manufacturer of professional cutlery and is also the oldest cutlery manufacturer in the United States.

Hours: 1st shift 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday-Friday, OT when requested

Compensation: BOE and position being hired for, $17-23/hr.

Responsibilities:

Setup, program and operate multiple primary press, and secondary press.
Set up, and operate press room shear, cutting sheets to appropriate width for blanking.
Setting up laser equipment, ensuring precision cutting, engraving, or welding according to specifications.
Set up and operate hafting machine, honing and buffing machines.
Seal and trim hafted knives.
Packaging finished products at various work station.

Desired Background/Skills:

Must be 18 years old or older
Previous manufacturing experience 1+ years
Ability to stand for entirety of shift
Ability to lift 40lbs
This role requires proficiency in English to complete documentation and follow safety instructions.
