Marketing and Operations Assistant

CoWorx has partnered with a leading manufacturer of high-performance engineered thermoplastic sheet, rollstock, compounds, and custom plastic products, who is looking to add a Marketing and Operations Assistant to their team in Maryland Heights, MO.

The company is known for specializes in providing innovative and sustainable solutions, offering materials like acrylics, polycarbonates, and ABS, and serves as a one-stop-shop for material specifications, product development, and prototyping. They are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing & Operations Assistant to support their marketing efforts and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This multifaceted role involving the management of their social media, scheduling, assisting with tradeshow logistics and preparation, maintaining digital assets, coordinating with external vendors and running the company’s product sample room.

Flexible schedule options are available, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. While this will not be completely full-time, the total weekly hours will be determined on the selected applicants availability. Pay rate will be determined, based on experience but is expected to be between $25-$30 per hour to start.

Responsibilities:

Marketing & Communications:

Assist in developing and implementing the social media content calendar.
Create, schedule, and post content on various social media platforms.
Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
Help prepare marketing collateral and update company literature as needed.
Digital Asset & CRM Management
Maintain and update the document library on the company’s SharePoint intranet site and the HubSpot CRM Document Library

Vendor & Partner Coordination:

Liaise with web developers to request and track website updates.
Communicate with print catalog suppliers regarding production, shipments, and updates.

Tradeshow Support:

Assist with tradeshow planning and logistics, including shipment of samples, booth materials, and literature.
Help coordinate tradeshow registration, vendor communication.
Organize tradeshow kits and ensure timely preparation of promotional materials.
Prepare materials/tabletop display for Distributor regional shows.

Sample Room Management:

Pack and ship product samples with appropriate cover letters and marketing literature.
Maintain organized inventory of samples; monitor and restock supplies as needed.
Coordinate with plant personnel.
Ensure labeling and packaging align with company standards.
Prepare regular inventory and activity reports.

Desired Background/Skills:

Previous experience in marketing support, administration, or customer service preferred.
Familiarity with tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, HubSpot, and social media platforms.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Clear and professional communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Basic understanding of brand consistency and marketing principles.
Previous experience managing a CRM or digital asset library.
Light graphic editing or content creation abilities.
Experience assisting with tradeshow logistics or event planning.
