Retail Logistics Lead

CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring a Retail Logistics Lead in Plymouth, MA! The Retail Logistics Lead is responsible for coordinating and executing daily warehouse operations to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely processing of inbound and outbound retail orders. This role requires hands-on experience with material handling equipment, warehouse management systems (WMS), and RF technology, as well as strong communication and organizational skills. The Retail Logistics Lead will be a key driver of continuous improvement initiatives in the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

Lead and support warehouse activities related to inbound receiving, order picking, packing, and shipping for retail customers.
Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers safely and efficiently in accordance with certification requirements.
Utilize WMS with RF scanning capabilities to accurately track inventory movements and order status.
Oversee product staging, labeling, and preparation for outbound shipments to meet customer delivery requirements.
Coordinate with team members to prioritize workloads based on shipping schedules and customer needs.
Maintain accurate documentation for inbound and outbound shipments.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, carriers, and retail partners to resolve issues quickly.
Support training and mentoring of warehouse associates in safe equipment operation and process adherence.
Identify and recommend process improvements to increase productivity, accuracy, and safety.
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements.

Desired Background/Skills:

Forklift Certification required
3–5 years of hands-on experience operating a reach truck and order picker.
Demonstrated experience working in a warehouse management system (WMS) with RF scanning technology.
Proven inbound receiving and outbound shipping experience—preferably in a retail logistics environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively and lead by example.
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing demands.
Commitment to continuous improvement and problem-solving.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods.
