Warehouse Lead

CoWorx has partnered with a leading supplier of wireless communications infrastructure and mobile products, who is looking to add Leads to their Warehouse Department in Lenexa, KS. As a Warehouse Lead, you would be responsible for assisting management through oversight and direction of day-to-day warehouse operations, supervision, training, and motivation of reporting staff. This is a great temporary to hire opportunity with a pay range of $20-$22 per hour, depending on experience. Responsibilities:

Responsibility is to assist management through oversight and direction of day-to-day warehouse operations, supervision, training, and motivation of reporting staff.
Interfaces with management and quality manager to ensure processes and procedures are being followed, goals and objectives are being met and customers are being supported.
Assists on an as-needed basis in general warehouse roles including cable processing, order picking, order packing, small parcel shipping, truck shipping, receiving, put away, and cycle counting.

Desired Background/Skills:

An associate degree or some completed course work from, an accredited four-year college or university is preferred, and one to two years of related work experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
This position requires a working knowledge of, and an ability to operate, warehouse equipment including forklift, re-roll equipment.
This position requires someone who is comfortable with office equipment including personal computers and software including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
This position requires; people skills, a strong goal orientation, superior time management skills and work ethic, and an ability to direct staff and work cohesively with peers.
