Production Opertator

We are seeking an entry level Extrusion Operator on Days or Nights shift to join our team in Barrington, NH. For those with similar industry experience, such as Blow Mold or Injection Mold, and familiarity with set-ups.
The entry-level production operator in extrusion will work at the end of the extrusion line, catching extruded products off the end of the line, inspecting product visually as well as with gauges and verniers. Will pack products and perform data entry on part counts and any rejected material. Will stage sample products for QC.

Day Shift Monday thru Thursday from 7AM to 7PM
Night Shift Monday thru Thursday from 7 PM to 7 AM

$19+/hour (potential for higher rate depending on experience)

Weekly Friday Pay Days

Responsibilities:

Extrusion Operator sets up and operates a plastic extrusion machine in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and customer requirements.
Reads and interprets production procedures and diagrams to select, position, and set up machinery.
Extrusion Operator adjusts and cleans machines and documents work performed as required.
The Extrusion Operator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.
Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
Stage sample products for QC.
Pack products and perform data entry on part counts and any rejected material
Catch extruded products off the end of the line
Visually inspect product as well as with gauges and verniers

Desired Background/Skills:

Mechanical and operation skills are a plus
In addition to physical strength and stamina, extrusion operators should have computer skills, dexterity, and critical thinking skills.
Self-motivated, must demonstrate initiative in facilitating the goals of the company.
Familiarity of the following is preferred: manufacturing

(48 hour work week with 8 hours at OT rate)

$19+/hour (potential for higher rate depending on experience)
