Quality Technician

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Quality Technicians in the Slatersville, RI area!

In this role, you’ll support engineering and production by performing inspections, measurements, and functional testing on products to ensure they meet quality standards. This is a great opportunity for someone detail-oriented who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and contributing to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections on new and existing products to verify specifications.
Use measurement tools such as calipers, depth gauges, drop indicators, and optical comparators.
Document and report inspection results using spreadsheets and basic reporting tools.
Manufacture and prepare samples as needed, which may include operating injection molding or assembly machines.
Conduct statistical analysis of inspection results and provide recommendations based on findings.
Support root cause analysis of defective products and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
Evaluate and update inspection/test procedures as needed; assist with training others on new processes.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Desired Background/Skills:

Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, spreadsheets).
Basic report writing ability.
Experience with measurement equipment (calipers, gauges, comparators, etc.).
Understanding of basic statistics.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
