Assemblers

CoWorx Staffing is seeking Assemblers in the Georgetown, MA area!

The ideal candidate will be a team player and have mechanical aptitude.

Job duties will include, but not limited to, reading of blueprints, use of various hand tools, fastening parts and assemblies, examining connections for correct fit and gathering of needed parts and materials.

Opportunities for cross training in other departments.

Full-time position – 8 hour shift, Monday through Friday (6:00am-2:30pm Training, once complete change to 2nd shift 2:30pm-11:00pm)

Responsibilities:

Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
Assembly components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies

Desired Background/Skills:

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Punctual
Able to work with minimum supervision
Excellent organizational skills
Mathematical aptitude
Mechanical aptitude
High school diploma or GED
