Responsibilities:
Essential Duties include, but are not limited to:
Arrive on time and ready to work the required hours, with the ability to work flexible hours and overtime, as required.
Demonstrate and practice excellent personal hygiene and follow GMPs throughout all aspects of the job.
Maintain clean and tidy work conditions and assist in the cleanup of the work area, as needed.
Maintain the high standards with regard to food safety and food quality and deliver high quality results.
Maintain plant cleanliness according to the master sanitation schedule and document completed tasks as instructed.
Assist in breaking down, cleaning, and setting-up various pieces of equipment using proper sanitation practices.
Follow all instructions regarding the proper use of cleaning chemicals to ensure they are used properly and within established limits.
Assist in operating mechanical cleaning equipment.
Assist in any and all jobs related to the department as requested including cleaning production areas, assisting with dish washing, assisting in the washroom, assisting with janitorial duties, and/or other cleaning responsibilities throughout the facility.
Follow instructions and communicate problems as soon as they arise.
Maintain a positive attitude with regard to the company, job, and other team members. Treat others with respect.
Work with others and receive coaching and feedback.
Work in a safe manner and recognize/help correct any unsafe conditions.
Support management in other related duties, as required.
Experience/Education Required:
Entry level position. Prior sanitation experience is a plus but is not required.
