Weekend Day Shift Material Handler

CoWorx Staffing is hiring a Material Handler for the weekend day shift in Spencer, MA!

This is a temporary position anticipated to last through the end of the year.

Shift: 6am-6pm Friday-Sunday

Responsibilities:

Perform various tasks in support of production operations.
Operate Forklifts and reach trucks.
Complete work orders from systems or following verbal and written instructions.
Check schedule and machines for list of materials needed.
Transport requested materials to appropriate departments for production use or shipping/receiving.
Sort materials for optimal use of warehouse space.
Maintain daily inventory records.
Perform simple maintenance on forklift tractor; check battery, radiator, and oil fluids.
Maintain equipment, clean machine, and work area.
Must learn and follow standardized work that has been created within assigned role
Learn lean concepts, actively participate in process improvements
Other duties consistent with the general nature and focus of the position and/or the goals and objectives of the department may be assigned.

Desired Background/Skills:

Typically requires a High School Diploma or GED
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn ERP system
Previous shipping experience required
Forklift experience is required
