Job Description:
Location: Manchester, New Hampshire

CoWorx is seeking Plastic Machine Operators in the Manchester, NH area!
Job Objective: Ability to operate and be certified on a variety of tasks, including operating manufacturing equipment, following established Standard Operating Procedures. Maintain Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost standards. Ability to perform varying assignments daily.

Responsibilities:
Ability to obtain certification in a minimum of HTH Operator level 1 within the time frame specified on each training checklist.
Perform basic troubleshooting of extrusion machinery and plastics processes.
Comply and understand all standard operating procedures, control plans, safety, and environmental procedures.
Maintain accuracy in production reporting, downtime, sampling, and data entry.
Read and interpret the Discrete Job Routing Sheet and Repetitive(s).
Complete necessary computer transactions or paperwork.
Maintain established production standards.
Accountable for personal goals and departmental metrics.
Ability to successfully complete training and operate PIT’s.
Comply with Quality Standard ISO/TS 16949, Environmental Standard ISO 14001, and BRC/IOP.
Ability to work overtime as required or requested, including extended shifts and weekends.
Ability to work overtime as required or requested including extended shifts and weekends.
Ability and willingness to be cross trained in any other functions as required or requested.
Additional tasks as assigned.

Desired Background/Skills:
Must have plastics experience or solid machine operation experience with longevity.
High School Diploma and/or GED required.
Demonstrated ability to work within a team, and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to read, comprehends, follows, and recommend improvements to working instructions and procedures.
Basic computer literacy.
Effective verbal and written communication.
