Responsibilities:
Based in Arlington, TX, the Maintenance Technician will perform essential job functions in the maintenance and repair of equipment, facilities, and vehicles under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.
Works to minimize unplanned downtime, improve production quality, increase equipment efficiency, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Assist in equipment performance testing per companywide and manufacturer’s guidelines.
Promptly report observed equipment, facility, and vehicle repair or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
Follows priorities set by supervisor and performs work in accordance with companywide guidelines and manufacturer’s specifications.
Conduct scheduled inspections of fluid levels, water flows, quench oils, filters, washer soap, and similar items; notify supervisor of issues as needed.
Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures, and accept constructive criticism.
This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customers’ inventory and, as such, will perform duties safely and responsibly to prevent customer loss or damage.

This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident cardholders.
Education – College or technical degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred; High school diploma or equivalent plus 3-5 years industrial maintenance experience required.
Must possess troubleshooting skills with mechanical equipment and be analytical.
