Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support plant electrical engineering responsibilities for two facilities in the Newington NH area. This role covers plant power distribution, lockout/tagout systems, data acquisition, and the electrical components of production lines and standalone manufacturing equipment.

The preferred candidate will have some understanding of PLC/Motors/Drives, etc, and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Program and troubleshoot AC/DC drive systems, PLCs, and HMI programs
Maintain and back up PLC programs on the plant network
Perform electrical design, modifications, instrumentation, and control upgrades
Maintain Arc Flash analysis, labeling, and coordination studies for plant power distribution
Set up and maintain Machine Data Acquisition systems and Data Logging software (Citeck, Wonderware)
Ensure compliance with OSHA electrical safety programs and maintain lockout/tagout procedures
Diagnose electrical failures and implement upgrades to improve uptime, quality, and reliability
Maintain Liburdi WinTube welding system for PC lines
Prepare and update electrical plans, schematics, and documentation using AutoCAD
Adhere to GMP, OSHA, NEC, NFPA, ANSI, and UL standards
Support LEAN Manufacturing tools (5S+1, TPM)
Collaborate with Process Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, and IT teams

Desired Background/Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Strong experience with PLC programming, HMI systems, and drive systems
Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical documentation
Knowledge of Arc Flash analysis, lockout/tagout, and OSHA safety standards
Familiarity with data acquisition systems and scripting
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship not available)
