Machine Operator

CoWorx is seeking a Machine Operator in the Bethel, CT area!

This role ensures that all parts meet strict quality and dimensional standards while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role will be responsible for the set up and operation of several EDM machines while working on 3rd shift.

Must be able to work (10:30pm to 7:00am) 3rd shift

Responsibilities:

Manage the set up and operation of multiple EDM machines for maximum efficiency.
Use of hand measurement tools.
Be aware of department goals and workmanship.
Collect information to work with process engineering to improve processes, reduce scrap and increase productivity.
Other responsibilities as required by the EDM Supervisor or Manufacturing Manager.

Desired Background/Skills:

High School Degree or equivalent required.
Three to Five years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret production work instructions, routers and specifications.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from operators and to upper management and auditors.
Spanish skills language skills not required but would be an asset.
This role requires proficiency in English to complete documentation and follow safety instructions.
