Machine Operator

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Machine Operator’s for a local Manufacturing company within the Thomaston, CT area.

Looking for candidates with machine operations experience within the manufacturing industry of 3-5 years.

All Shift Available:
1st Shift – 7am-3pm
2nd Shift – 3pm – 11pm
3rd Shift – 11pm – 3pm

Pay Rates – Pending Shift – $16.60 – 17.75

Positions are not on local city transit.

Responsibilities:

Maintain specific standards for safety, quality, and productivity
Operate machinery equipment
Verify sensors are functioning properly
Verify machine is operating at appropriate speed
Observe and report machine abnormalities to cell leader, mechanic, or supervisor
Perform various quality inspections (both visual and mechanical)
Requisition materials, fill hoppers, label, and move boxes
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
Good verbal & written communication skills
This role requires proficiency in English to complete documentation and follow safety instructions.
Must be able to work effectively with minimum supervision

Desired Background/Skills:

Min of High School Diploma, GED required
Basic math skills
Willingness to assist other cross-functional groups based on needs.
Ability to work independently and be proactive.
Ability to analyze, interpret and report data.
