CNC/SetUp Operator – 1st and 2nd shifts

• Shifts: 1st and 2nd Shift (+5% differential)

Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC equipment including lathes and milling machines
• Set up and operate CNC lathes and secondary machines to meet production targets
• Monitor multiple CNC machines and auxiliary equipment
• Perform machining tasks as directed by the Supervisor
• Complete first-piece inspections and submit to Quality Control
• Maintain production records and assist operators with paperwork
• Train machine operators on operation, inspection, and preventative maintenance
• Ensure adherence to safety, housekeeping, and 5S standards

Desired Background/Skills:

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• CNC experience required (setup and/or programming preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, microscopes, and other precision measuring tools
• Strong math skills
• Understanding of applicable safety practices and regulations
• Must successfully complete background check and pre-employment testing

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience setting up and operating CNC lathes
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to train and mentor operators
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
