CoWorx Staffing is hiring a Manufacturing Cook in Training in the York, ME area!

The Manufacturing Cook in Training supports food production operations by learning and assisting in cooking processes in a manufacturing environment. This role provides hands-on training while ensuring products are prepared according to company recipes, quality standards, and food safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

Assist experienced cooks in preparing and cooking products according to recipes and production schedules
Measure, weigh, and prepare ingredients accurately
Operate and monitor cooking equipment under supervision
Follow all food safety, quality, GMP, and sanitation standards
Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment throughout the shift
Learn production documentation and quality checks
Report any safety, quality, or equipment concerns to supervisors

Desired Background/Skills:

Ability to work 2nd shift (1:00 PM – 9:30 PM)
Interest in learning food manufacturing and cooking processes
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Previous food production or manufacturing experience preferred but not required

Pay Rate: $20.50/hour + 10% shift differential
