Materials Processor

CoWorx has partnered with a raw material manufacturer, who is looking to add Materials Processors to their team in New Hartford, NY! As a Materials Processor, you will be operating machinery and testing equipment for various products.

These are 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift roles paying $19+ an hour depending on shift and skill level. The shift options are 7:30am-4:00pm, 3:30pm-12:00am, or 11:30pm-8:00am.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate machinery
Maintain production records and enter data in electronic files.
Perform routine equipment maintenance, including minor repair and modifications.
Prepare, inspect and pack product for shipment.
Receive, identify, sort, document, store, and distribute bar, coil, slab, sheet and wire samples for chemistry, metallographic and mechanical tests.

Desired Background/Skills:

3+ years of previous manufacturing and machine operating experience
High school diploma or equivalent education required.
