Job Description:

Location: Griffin, Georgia

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Welder / Fabricator candidates in the Griffin, GA area. To be successful in this position you should have a strong mechanical aptitude, training and experience with MIG welding and the desire to learn. You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to work safely alone and around others is essential to this position as well.

Responsibilities:

Using MIG welding techniques, weld aluminum stud frames, walls and roof to create enclosures
Weld all secondary and supporting components for the enclosure
Assemble and weld walls around fuel tanks
Test welds for leaks and complete spot welds where needed
Work with Quality Control to confirm all weld work is as required by specifications
Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Desired Background/Skills:

High school diploma, trade school or equivalent preferred.
Minimum 1 year experience of MIG welding (aluminum and steel)
Light and medium gauge fabrication experience
Successfully read tape measure and compute basic math
Interpret shop drawings
Certified Flux Core welder
Technical Degree or Certification

Other Information:

Direct Hire opportunity
1st (6am-2pm) and 2nd (2pm-10pm) shift openings
Overtime available at time and a half
Monday through Friday plus some mandatory Saturdays
Griffin and Barnesville locations
Pay is determined depending on experience (could offer more than listed)
