Electrical Engineer

CoWorx is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join one of our top clients in the Woodstock CT area. This is a F/T 1st shift, direct placement our client with a salary of $100K – 110K, slightly negotiable.

The Electrical Engineer, or Electronics Engineer, is responsible for developing electrical devices and testing them for safety and efficiency. Their duties include managing the manufacturing process for new electrical equipment, using design software to produce schematics and overseeing the installation process of their designs.

Responsibilities:

Design, control, and implement circuit boards into applicable product offerings.
Assist with development of manufacturing processes as it relates to electrical circuitry.
Define customer needs and requirements
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design new products.
Perform quality and performance analysis on new technologies.
Summarize data and report on test results

Desired Background/Skills:

BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Bachelor’s degree in engineering/IT related field or 3+ years of related experience
Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting.
Proven experience in PCB – circuit board design.
Familiarity with software configuration management tools, and peer review
Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components
