Mixing Assistant

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Mixing Assistant candidates in the Atlanta, GA area.

Responsibilities:

Support continuous machine operations by assisting with material handling and workflow.
Load, unload, measure, mix, and weigh materials according to specified formulas or “recipes.”
Assist with machinery operations, including cutting, paper handling, foam processing, or chemical mixing.
Ensure proper quantities, quality, and safety in all production steps.
Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Follow all written instructions, work standards, and safety procedures.
Read and understand instructions to add raw materials accurately.
Perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, standing, and moving throughout the shift.
Apply basic math skills to ensure accurate measurements and ingredient mixes.

Desired Background/Skills:

High energy and a strong work ethic.
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Basic safety knowledge and awareness.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
Frequent bending, stretching, pushing, and pulling.
Comfortable working in tight spaces and around machinery.
Tolerance to noise, temperature changes, and exposure to raw materials.
