Our client—an industry innovator in microelectronics—is looking for a Supply Chain Planner / Buyer to join their growing Procurement team in the Charlestown, NH area!.

Location: Onsite, Hybrid, or Fully Remote (U.S.)
Compensation: $60,000–$80,000 + Yearly Discretionary Bonus
In this role, you’ll manage material planning, purchasing, and the full procurement lifecycle to support Operations and New Product Introduction (NPI). You’ll own supplier relationships, ensure accurate and timely material availability, and play an integral role in helping the business deliver high-quality, highly specialized products.

Responsibilities:
Plan, purchase, and replenish materials to support production schedules, inventory goals, and NPI initiatives.
Review approved requisitions and convert them into timely, accurate purchase orders.
Maintain and organize all open purchase orders, ensuring clean execution and full visibility.
Monitor supplier performance (price, delivery, quality) and proactively escalate risks.
Partner closely with Receiving to reconcile discrepancies in quantity, quality, or documentation.
Communicate with suppliers to provide drawings, specs, and other required documentation.
Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to develop and maintain material specifications.
Evaluate RFQ responses and support supplier negotiations around pricing, terms, and lead times.
Assist with pricing agreements and contract maintenance.
Manage returns, rejections, and claims associated with nonconforming materials or order changes.
Ensure that all procurement activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and applicable regulations.

Desired Background/Skills:
Associate’s degree in Materials Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field—or equivalent experience.
3–5 years of procurement or material planning experience in microelectronics manufacturing (PCB fabrication, board-level components, or similar regulated environment).
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle, SAP, Bacon Software, or similar).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Experience with RFQs, negotiation, expediting, and shipping coordination.
Preferred: ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification.
Preferred: Working knowledge of EAR/ITAR.
