Assembler

CoWorx is seeking energetic, motivated, and reliable Warehouse Assemblers for immediate openings on all shifts in the Bolingbrook, IL area.

This position is responsible for providing warehouse support including picking, packing, assembly, sorting, verification, clerks, shipping, and receiving, quality control to meet the facility’s productivity and quality goals.

As a Assembler, you must be able to work in a team-oriented environment. You must be able to communicate well with management and fellow employees. Ideal candidates have a very positive attitude and previous warehouse experience but not required. No HSD/GED required.

Responsibilities:

Pulling, packing, and sorting items for shipping and receiving
Pulling merchandise from warehouse stock bins and shelves
Recording selected merchandise in accordance with standard operating procedures
Packaging merchandise for shipment, either in boxes or on pallets
Ensuring correct and complete labels are attached to all orders processed
Replenishing area inventory stock as required
Perform various tasks on the assembly line, such as assemble product, open cartons, place product on tables, apply labels, pack product, and tape boxes
Wrap and/or band pallets and tag pallets; move pallets to appropriate area for removal
Assist line leaders as needed
Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned; duties may vary on facility’s needs

Desired Background/Skills:

Must be 18 years old or older
Attention to Detail
Ability to Lift 40 Pounds
Ability to Stand 8-12 Hours
Available for OT and Weekends as needed
