Manual Grinder

CoWorx is hiring a Manual Grinder in the Methuen, MA area!

This position requires an individual to work with verbal and visual instructions.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate grinding machines, including select grinding wheels and adjust settings to achieve desired dimensions and finishes
Prepare workpieces by cleaning, deburring, and ensuring they are properly mounted on the machine
Inspect finished parts for accuracy, defects, and adherence to specifications
Perform basic maintenance on grinding machines and tools, ensuring they are in good working order
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Desired Background/Skills:

Must be 18 years old or older
1 years’ experience manually grinding welds smooth on steel and or aluminum
Must have experience with grinding, or heavy experience with mechanical tools and skilled manufacturing
