Encapsulation Technician

CoWorx Staffing in conjunction with a leading pharmaceutical in the area are seeking an Encapsulation Operator/technician to join our manufacturing team in the Edison, NJ area!

This role is responsible for operating encapsulation equipment, monitoring product quality during production, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance within a cGMP manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced pharmaceutical or supplement production setting.

Two shift available:
1st shift (5:30am – 1:30pm) Training rate $22.70 per hour
2nd shift (1:30pm- 9:30pm) Training rate $23.70

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate manual encapsulation machines
Verify correct blends and capsule sizes before production
Load materials into machine hopper throughout production runs
Monitor capsule weight, sealing, and machine performance
Submit in-process samples to Quality Control Production Operator
Maintain accurate in-process production and downtime logs
Perform routine machine cleaning and maintenance per SOPs
Maintain clean and organized work area in compliance with cGMP standards

Desired Background/Skills:

High School Diploma or GED required
Manufacturing experience preferred, ideally in pharmaceutical, supplement, or food production
Experience with solid dosage manufacturing is a plus
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Basic math skills required
Ability to work in a regulated manufacturing environment
Pharmaceutical production
