Warehouse Lead

Warehouse Leads will support the operations in the following areas:

Walk floor to inspect product at loadout docs
Escalate damaged product to customer and Lowes on site
Check-in Drivers, for AM or PM
Provide traffic coordination for inbound trucks and assigning them to correct doc location
Some Route Monitoring in CLM.
Reaching out to delivery teams for issues or concerns.

NOTE: there is a 4PL onsite handling warehouse. seeking support in product inspections, directing drivers to correct docks, and performing route monitoring support as needed, and checking in teams in the afternoon

Responsibilities:

Assign work and monitor group activities
Guide team in understanding housekeeping requirements
Ensure team adherence to all safety procedures and programs
Handle Route monitoring
Assist with resolving problems to ensure maximum associate productivity; take necessary action to correct substandard performance

Desired Background/Skills:

1 year of warehouse experience
Experience in a Lead role
Microsoft Office proficiency skills
It’d be great if you also have:
High school diploma or equivalent
Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings and weekends
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to coach and mentor team members
Solid math skills and analytical ability
This job requires the ability to:
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Hybrid work in the Warehouse and Office.
