Quality Inspector

CoWorx is seeking a Quality Inspector in the Sterling, MA area!

This position inspects products manufactured to ensure compliance with customer specifications by performing the following duties.

Shift: 7am-7pm Rotating Schedule

Responsibilities:

Perform start-up inspections, in-process inspections and inspections per the Quality Plan or CSD.
Assist in the coordination of non-conforming products and places on hold if required.
Communicates with team members about Quality concerns and potential non-conformances.
Verify that in-process inspection and line clearance is being performed.
Conduct Quality inspections in packaging department, and on molding room floor.
Verify that manufacturing and Quality related records are being maintained accurately following Good Documentation Practices.
Must have competence and manual dexterity to use micrometers, verniers, pin gauges and other analytical instruments.
Required to use a comparator and other testing equipment as assigned.
Communicate requirements to fellow inspectors to maintain consistency for all shifts.
All other duties as assigned.

Desired Background/Skills:

Must be 18 years old or older
Inspector / Packer experience
