Machine Operator

CoWorx Staffing is hiring for Machine Operators for a client in Easthampton, MA.

Shift:

Mon – Fri, 5:30am – 5:30pm (60 hour week)- $20

Mon – Fri, 5:30pm – 5:30am (60 hour week)-$21

Responsibilities:

Operate all coating activities including set-up machine, feed adhesive to coater via reservoir.
Observe machine and equipment operation to detect defects.
Perform proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
Operate forklift/ hand truck to lift and move pallets with drums and/or rolls.
Assist production as a material handler: load, unload, and move materials, part, or products manually or by mechanized means within or near plant, in warehouse or vehicle with the ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
Perform a variety of other warehouse tasks. If needed, install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools.
Load each end of machine with raw materials.

Desired Background/Skills:

Must be 18 years old or older
Must be mechanically inclined
Prior production experience required
Machine Operating experience a plus
