Manual Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Manual or CNC Machinist to join a growing manufacturing team in Conway, NH. This position involves setting up and operating manual machines, performing precision machining work, and ensuring parts meet quality standards. If you have strong mechanical ability, experience with machining equipment, and enjoy hands-on work, this is a great opportunity to join a stable and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Select, position, and secure tooling in machine holders
Program and operate Bridgeport-style manual machines (2–3 axis) with Proto-Trak controls
Adjust machine settings, including pressure and tool clearances
Set cut dimensions based on print details and job instructions
Position and secure workpieces accurately
Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
Maintain a safe and organized work area

Desired Background/Skills:

Experience with manual machining; CNC experience also considered
Ability to read and follow prints and job instructions
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently

Conway, NH
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay: $25–$32 per hour, DOE
